Learn how to get your business or arts events on this site.

We have detailed instructions and a video learning center for you.

TodayinAustin is a community service that uses Really Simple Syndication to let visitors know what's happening for entertainment choices every day in Austin, TX.

TodayinAustin was a SXSW 2008 Honoree for the Dewey Winburne Award for community service through technology in Central Texas.

We want to be an entertainment web site that's VERY SIMPLE to use and that represents the broadest range of interesting events suitable for the general public. We aggregate art events, business events, civic events, live music, and a broad range of community events and festivals.

You'll find our event descriptions to be of the highest quality. We read every event before it is cleared for publishing. Calendar items have detailed addresses with Google Map links, times of events and web site links "for more information."

Users have flexible options: they can visit our site, subscribe to RSS feeds from our site, or they can read us on mobile web devices like the iPhone and Blackberry. Users with a free Jott account can actually listen to our news from any telephone, and those with an iGoogle page can add our RSS feeds or gadgets to be viewed there.

Word of mouth is our most powerful way to expand our connection to the Austin community. If you can recommend us to your friends in your emails, that would be fantastic.

If you intend to use our feeds or calendars on a public web site, we request that you follow our Terms of Use (below).

Terms of Use:

TodayinAustin reserves the right to stop the distribution of content through RSS feeds at any time and does not accept any liability for its RSS feeds.
